Oh hey guys, I'm back on PoYB. It's been awhile. I'm starting off 2024 strong with a song from a musical. There are a lot of really fun songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, but "Could We Start Again, Please?" is a relatively simple song that is just so so so gorgeous, especially with those harmonies towards the end.

Starting over seems like it should be a good thing, no? In the case of "Could We Start Again, Please?," it's a question. Could we start again, please? And if you haven't seen Jesus Christ Superstar, this song is towards the end of the show. At this point in the show, we're at about the Stations of the Cross. SPOILER ALERT: they DO NOT start again.

2024 is going to inevitably involve religion for me. Our oldest daughter will eventually be enrolled in Catholic school by the end of the year. Who knows what changes that will bring to my own relationship with religion (which is more or less non-existent at this point), or my feelings about religion.
