I'll admit, I've never been a fan of Justin Timberlake, the solo artist. His music actively encouraged fedora-wearing in the early 2000s. I'm also not a fan of Justin Timberlake, the human being. Treatment of Britney Spears and Janet Jackson aside, let's not forget—this man spent all summer teasing a fake-out *NSYNC reunion to promote a Trolls 3. He cashed in on millennial nostalgia to get women in their 30s hyped to take their kids to see the third and weakest (according to Rotten Tomatoes) installment of a children's trilogy. Scumbag behavior. And after all that, this is the song he releases? Between the pre-programmed Casio keyboard synth beat and the generic lyrics, I am thoroughly underwhelmed. It's not just bad, it's boring. Dated and boring. A poor showing from the former pop prodigy.

The hubris of this man! That he thought he could be a Troll and still maintain the overwhelming critical and commercial success he enjoyed in the '00s and early '10s! May Branch the Troll haunt him for the rest of his days!!!
Apparently all of the Britney stans are listening to her old song “Selfish” to get her to the top of the charts instead of him!
