Ahhhh, Sempiternal. What an absolute beast of an album. Oddly enough, this is my favorite song on the album. Brings me back to when I first bought my house and kind of first got into the heavier shit. I remember sitting out back with my wife and dog just happy to own a house. Drinking a beer and playing this song on my speaker, and Jenn going "turn this shit off, it's absolutely horrible." Opinions are like assholes, right?
My neighbors were having a party about a month ago, and I heard this song playing. They were all around the firepit in their yard. I had actually just spoken to them for the first time because I threw a frisbee in their yard by accident. Anyway, I was letting my dogs out for the night and heard the song and mysteriously poked my head over the fence and just said, "Hey guys, I love this song. Have a good night."
