What better way to kill the vibe of a raucous party than with a Christmas song by a christian boy group about a son buying shoes for his dying mother!! Would people get the memo? Probably not. But, the vibes would absolutely take a turn and people would wonder why a Christmas song was playing. I think that would certainly end a party. It's also possible that I would have completely missed the mark and I'm playing this song at the point in the night where the alcohol really is a depressant and people WANT to be sad. I think it's worth the risk to try it.
