Prompt: "A song that at least partially takes place on a roof"

Rufus Wainwright
Shrek: Music from the Original Motion Picture, 2001
I remember enough from Catholic school to know this song references the story of King David and Bathsheba, the married woman King David seduced after seeing her bathing on her roof. This story is very R-rated, involving adultery, cuckoldry, and murder. But did you know the follow-up story is absolutely X-rated? It involves David's son, Absalom, declaring himself king and rising up in revolt against his father. In order to declare his rebellion, Absalom decides to outdo his father—the man who secretly bedded a married woman—by publicly having sex with all of his father's mistresses. So Absalom sets up a fuck tent on the roof of the palace and puts on a public orgy, much to the delight of the Israelites. I finally understand what Bender was talking about.
