When I read the prompt, this song immediately popped into my head. Upon examining the lyrics, I'm genuinely shocked that the word "warm" doesn't appear within it. Granted, in this moment, our girl, the rejected, yet in love, Éponine has just sacrificed herself to save Marius during the battle of the barricade during the French Revolution. She lost the love triangle by a mile, but it doesn't matter, because she still cares. It's beautiful, yet so sad. Éponine lays at Marius' feet dying, while he comforts her in disbelief of her fate. It's raining, she's shivering from a gunshot wound and also... just dying. All as she softly sings to him, "I'll sleep in your embrace at last."

If ever there was a sure thing for Worst Songs of the Month, it's this slow song from Les Mis. You did your best to sell it, though, which I appreciate.
There's a podcaster I like who makes playlist for herself when she wants to feel miserable, and she calls those playlist her "le mis" playlists. Anyway, I enjoyed seeing the movie that one time but I will not be listening to this song, peace and love.
