Nate has mentioned the Truckers before, and they are one of the bands I most closely associate with Nate. We've seen them multiple times together, and each time, they put on an incredible show. In fact, I believe we saw them right before the world shut down due to COVID. I think we got into the band around the same time, too, though I could be wrong.
If I'm remembering correctly, it's around the time that they released two albums in a year (I'm gonna say 2009 and not look it up) (I looked it up it's 2011). This song was on Go-Go Boots, an absolutely underrated album in the Truckers general oeuvre. Finding this song in the middle of the album was a treat to me. It's happy and light and carefree in a way that most Truckers songs are not (especially on that album), and I read that it was a tribute to a friend who passed away.
Nate fucking hated this song. He said, and I remember this, "it sounds like something in a Target commercial." I hope he still hates it this much and has a visceral reaction to it appearing on here.

Without a single doubt the WORST day of music that has ever been featured on this shitty blog, saved from a clean 0/10 by the decent Drive-by Truckers Target song.
