Golem, Sunny

A golem is a creature from Talmudic folklore, a being created from mud and dirt through the power of a wizened one.

Is that right? Paging Zach. It's also a Pokémon, the final form of Geodude. I think a floating head speaks for itself.

There's a lot of interesting stuff going on here. The opening stage makes me expect that this is a heavy, rhythm guitar-driven deal. And it is that, but that's mostly a base layer. Mud and dirt semianimate. What gets thrown on top is a lot of freneticism, poppy reverbs, vocals for both goofing-off and reifying the base, and plenty of beep-boop-zip-zopping.

Something about the YouTube being one long track did something to my own floating head. I find it hard to track between tracks, quickly losing much of myself after throwing it into the headphones. Curious. Great biking to work music. Props to "Self Hypnosis," "Melted Rope," and "Floating Planet Head Golem" for getting stuck in my head much of this week.
