This Is My Blood: Baked
Here's to the sights and the sounds and the sips of summer. Summer 2020 may not have been the summer of our dreams, but we made the best of it. And we drank EVERY SINGLE DAY... technically. Cheers to the beers and the memories of the summer.
Cheers to putting some checkmarks on the chalkboard at Attic Brewing.
Cheers to cream ales and the Fourth of July.
Cheers to spending a rainy summer day sneaking a beer in a coffee cup.
Cheers to Father's Day binges.
Cheers to the Phillies, playoff-bound perhaps!
Cheers to drinking on the deck as Port Richmond burns to the ground (fuck it).
Cheers to talking about a book in the woods and drinking while we do it.
Cheers to drinking at a restaurant without the kids.
Cheers to drinking at a bar with the kids.
Cheers to drinking outside at eating establishments in general.
Cheers to all the happy hours and family parties we missed—we'll be back soon, hopefully!
Cheers to autumn, and all the pumpkin beers that it'll entail, like today's Lancaster Brewing Baked pumpkin ale.
Summer may just be a memory now, but that's okay. We'll always remember it, even though it was built to be forgotten.
R.I.P. Summer 2020.
