Let me set the scene: six girls traveling back from a three-day-long bachelorette. The car is packed to the gills. No one is doing "great." This is hour five of what would end up being a seven-hour trip. Someone has thrown up into a black garbage bag in the back seat... we will not stop to get rid of this, and it will join us for the next two hours. Girls are going in and out of sleep, while myself and friend of the blog Hannah are having a chat. A song comes on that reminds me of this challenge, and Hannah asks me what's the prompt for tomorrow. I look it up and read it... and we both sit in silence trying to think of something. From a deep sleep, Rachel comes alive saying, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer," and *immediately* falls back to sleep. And that's all I got because I didn't sleep in the car and am fully wiped from a very, very fun weekend.

As nightmarish as having to listen to "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" by Elmo & Patsy three times on a single day in August?
It's Day 85 and the prompt is "A song about a grandparent." What the fuck did you think would happen? It's like if the prompt was "A song about Delilah" and being shocked that we all picked Plain White T's.
It would be really funny to construct a very specific prompt for next year, one that was so specific that everyone would be forced to pick the same song. Like, "A song by Beyoncé about rings about how you should have put one of those rings on your finger, but instead you let her be a single lady."
