Is it true we have no originally recorded Stones songs? We had a "Gimme Shelter" cover, and I think Joe has referenced his disdain for Charlie Watts at least once. But I can't remember actually including the quote unquote best rock and roll band on here.
I'm decidedly a Beatles guy over the Stones. Probably because I think the Beatles were pretty transcendent and innovative, and the Stones are just a really good rock band that's hung around for a long ass time (though hasn't put out anything good and new in 40 years). But I still like them! Exile on Main Street is great. Other albums are fine. This song is pretty good and also the name of a Philly hardcore band.
