Prompt: "A song that has a tempo change"
Selected by Sam
"Stuck Between Stations"
The Hold Steady
Boys and Girls in America, 2006
I first heard this song driving with Nate down to secure the aforementioned summer Jersey shore apartment. Not one to miss gilding the lily, Nate described the piano breakdown in this song as what rock and roll is all about (or some other such phrase). Nate may be full of shit on occasion, but he ain't wrong on this one.
