Prompt: "A song you first heard in an unexpected place"
Selected by Dave
"Young & Unafraid"
The Moth & the Flame
Young & Unafraid, 2016
I first heard this song years ago while watching the show 13 Reasons Why. I instantly liked it, and thought it was weird that a cheesy TV show targeted toward teenagers would introduce me to a new band. I heard this song during the first season of the show, but the entire series ended up having a really good soundtrack, so it wasn't really that unexpected after all.
