Speed, Sound, Lonely KV, Sunny

There's no drop-dead wow moment on this EP, but one of my commutes is 20-some minutes long, so having a 20-some-minute album that soothes the stresses from the absurd day-to-day grind is always welcome. Simply produced songs with wistful lyrics about simplicities of everyday life (Re: "Dandelions"—"You can blow on 'em or you can just hold 'em") leave space to enjoy the beautiful simplicity of indie folk/rock. "Dandelions" is a real treat, and "How Lucky" is a delightful duet. I hadn't heard Prine before, but reading the internet makes it seem like I missed out on someone while he was around.

The speed of sound is 343 m/s, but the speed of sound of loneliness is over 370 m/s. Meaning you can be hit in the brain stem by loneliness before you hear it coming. In that, KV captures something, certainly something relatable to.
