After last week's holiday fun and merriment, we enter the actual time period for the two big end-of-year holidays, a time when I cannot imagine people are up for much listening and writing and whatnot, content instead to enjoy some quiet time with kith and kin by the warm figurative fires of their homestead. Far be it from me to interrupt such placid pleasures, but Record Club waits around for no one, and so at this time of year we offer up two EPs, one for each of the last two weeks of the year, a short burst of music to keep the weekly tradition going, even if most, or maybe all, are on vacation.
So either enjoy the music presented below, or enjoy your time away from the obligations of internet music clubs (or check out the archives, or the playlist). Record Club will be here in the new year, too, with hopes that it will prove to be a better year than last. Happy holidays, gang.
***REVIEWS WILL BE POSTED ON THURSDAY THIS WEEK, PLEASE HAVE ALL SUBMISSIONS IN BEFORE THAT TIME***

READING SOME SHIT: American Songwriter has a nice little piece detailing how Kurt Vile decided to record a country album, even though, yeah, his sound has always dabbled a little bit into country.
