Me, I want a hula hoop!
Let's be honest. Either you absolutely hate or you absolutely love the Chipmunks Christmas album. I think both arguments would be valid. At some point, the high-pitched Chipmunks do get to be too much. Having said that though, the album is full on 10/10 nostalgia for me.
Poor Dave. He just wants to force these three talking chipmunks to sing so he can make lots of money. And all they do is cause him grief. Well, let's be honest. Alvin is a pain in the ass. And nothing brings 35-year-old me more joy than hearing "Alvin!" and my kids thinking it's hilarious.
Every track on this is basically a home run. Not that it's good by any means in terms of actual music and "talent," but every song is a classic that you just can't help but sing along to. And outside of watching A Christmas Story, nothing else gets me more out of my grinchy self and into the holiday spirit.
