NF has always been outspoken about mental health and his depression growing up, and trying to become a successful artist. In a lot of his songs, he goes into some pretty dark details about this upbringing. I only picked this song from him because it’s one of my absolute favorites. You can honestly listen to any NF song and it is probably in some way about mental health and illness.
He actually still suffers from some pretty severe self-hatred and other issues, and tries to work with a lot of his fans to overcome their own issues as well. He honestly seems like he is just a good dude.
