This song isn't about George W. Bush—I don't think I ever saw our 43rd president cry—but I know Lily Allen wrote at least one song about Dubya. Remember the days when Bush was the worst thing that ever happened? The man's legacy has been redeemed beyond his wildest dreams. Now he's a kindly grandfather who rides a mountain bike, paints watercolors, enjoys a baseball game every now and again. The names that used to strike fear in our hearts are now moderately sympathetic. Dick Cheney's daughter is the subject of Trump's ire and he shifted positions on LGBT issues and everyone forgets about the Iraq War. Condoleezza Rice is a moderate and a hero. Donald Rumsfeld... actually I don't know what happened to him, I feel like people still hate him? Is he dead? (quick check) Yes, he's dead.
It surprised me to know that Lily Allen is only 39. She's got her whole life ahead of her, a whole life full of vindictive songs to write about ex-lovers and politicians. I suggest she choose a smaller target next time. Perhaps Harriet Hageman (R), the sole House representative from Wyoming? The successor to Liz Cheney, a victim no one saw coming? Why not?

Harriet Hageman voted against support for Ukraine and funding government agencies (wack), but voted in favor of reforming the FBI (sometimes you gotta hand it to 'em).
I met dubya once a couple years ago. Despite wanting to hate him because of war etc, I had to admit he was extremely charismatic
