The train was LOUD today, louder than I ever remember it being, at least from the inside anyway—the din of passengers' conversations overtook any thought that I was trying to have. Maybe because of the weather, or the fact that I was trying to read a book, or the acoustics of sitting in one seat closer to the front than I usually do, or more people going into the city on Wednesdays than on Monday or Fridays, or it was just one of those fucking days, the full Mercury or moon in retrograde or whatever the fuck, I don't know. But it matched the energy that I wanted to have, full and loud, though not necessarily the energy I actually possessed in that moment, it being early in the morning, still, you know.
Don't wanna be that guy, every single second I'm alive, I'm alive, I don't understand why.
