Emphatically No., Sunny

Do I love buttered bread?

Does it make sense to juxtapose dropping it with a failing environment, economy, society?

Are we past the nasty, brutish, and short period of civilization?

So it's crushing, boring, and long instead (with no slow joke to tell)?

Is it boring because of an over-obsession with getting back to "normal?"

Is that obsession driving us anxious-insane?

And the powers-that-be want us glued 24/7 to get more anxious?

Even though real change and getting more anxious has no connection?

Do we need to find rent control for our spleens?

Should you avoid bad advice, given expertly and good advice, given poorly?

Is that hypocritical to ask?

Am I happy to hear another album poking at "self care?"

And isn't a tat cheaper than talking to some dude?

Because you're already fully complete as a human being with no need to pursue futile efforts like someone else's notion of "self improvement?"

Does it work to sing-talk about all this with cute one-liners and clever couplets?

In a style between a more acerbic TMBG and less pretentious Car Seat Headrest (or whatever your reference points are)?

With thematic comparisons that you might call cheeky, tight under 35 minutes?

And simple, catchy basslines next to the occasional guitar flourish (like in "Emotional Rent Control")?

Did I have a lot of fun with this album, and this "review?"

Emphatically Yes.
