Personally, it's been a little tough fitting Record Club into my life this week, because of the whole new-baby-arriving-soon thing. ARTIST: American Trappist

WHAT GENRE IS IT: Rock, singer/songwriter

WHY SEAN PICKED IT: "The front man of American Trappist, Joe Michelini, hales from my hometown of Toms River and it baffles me why he isn't incredibly famous. I absolutely loved his old band River City Extension, especially their album Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Your Anger (it is not on Spotify, but can be found here). I also really enjoyed American Trappist's self-titled debut. I have not yet listened to 2018's Tentanda Via (aside from the song "Getting Even") and have been wondering if the album holds up."
