Is this album fun? Yes.
Is this album anything I haven't heard before? No.
Did this album make me google what her husband looks like? Yes.
Will I put this album on again? Hmmm probably not, but I enjoyed the two times I listened to it.
Did this album make me put on Kasey Musgraves for the rest of the afternoon? Yes.
While I don't know if I'm really a country-pop kind of girl, every time this genre comes on, I totally get it. It's fun and carefree. Maren has a pretty voice and I bet puts on a great concert. While I don't think this album is necessarily memorable, I do want to harken back to why Rachel S. picked it: "It's getting warm out, seems like a pop-country album is the way to go." Spot on.
