Young Enough, Gary

Charly Bliss must be a great band. My daughter won't stop dancing to them.

Back in the day there was a videogames called Amplitude. The game was all over the place with types of music from P.O.D. to blink-182. Then there were a few songs from Garbage ("Cherry Lips"), Freezepop ("Super-Sprøde"), and David Bowie ("Everyone Says 'Hi'").

CB really brought me back to playing, because their music had such early-2000s pop-rock feel. Highly recommend checking out the Amplitude soundtrack if you enjoyed this album.

My favorite song was right out of the gate. "Blown to Bits" was incredible. It combined the electric funk to my life. Sports, drunk walks, and staying at home alone instead of going out to the party? Yep!

Speaking of bringing back memories. "Chatroom" had me right back there. A/S/L? When really we all just wanted to see some stranger nude. There is some deep shit thrown in there for sure. But still a upbeat song to get you grooving.

Hard to believe gets the legs bumping. It's a good spot too, because it comes off a song that's probably my least favorite ("Hurt Me"), because it's the only song I skipped halfway through. How many times can you tell me I don't want to hurt you? Anyway, hard to believe gets you dancing around like a crazy woman. Or at least that's what happened in our basement when I put it on, and Gia couldn't stop tapping her foot, spinning around, and doing a pointing motion.

Thanks for reading. I give the album 4 out of 5 Miller Lites

Sidenote: I think I'm the only person that's going to enjoy this week of Record Club. I hope I'm wrong there though.

Tip your waitors and waitresses. Go birds!
