shvt vp and enjoy the weather, Nate

The slower pace I can take-or-leave. The flourishes of mid-aughts emo are interesting, even (maybe especially) when they threaten to cross the dreaded Owl City / Radio Disney line. I admire anyone who calls their own shot, so credit to Magic Toaster for naming its best song "banger supreme." The lyrics speak to the disaffection of the modern age, and get compelling when explicitly contrasting the old commercialism with the new (we used to go to the mall, now we buy it all online, things of that nature), but I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't want to dig deeper than vibe merchantry. A nice little record and a welcome addition to my personal Bandcamp collection.
