When we first started dating, way back in the day, we did this like audio tour of statues and art in Center City, and the only one that stuck with me was this one piece on the Parkway, one that had a hole in it, and if you look through the hole facing one way, you see City Hall, and if you look through the other way, you see the fountains at Logan Square [see above], and apparently, the creator of this one particular hole-y piece of art was the son of the guy who designed Logan Square and the grandson of the guy who designed City Hall. Always possible that I'm misremembering. What I'm not misremembering is the feeling of young love I reacquaint myself with every time I see that art on the Parkway, remembering what it was like to hold her hand, and walk through the city, looking at art.
