I'm still disappointed that Mandy Moore won, just because the other four artists are preferable to someone who at this point is more famous for her acting, but this album is OK. I got lots of musical theater vibes, which isn't always my thing. I would recommend listening to I'm With Her, specifically, if you're looking for someone else who wasn't picked, or, more even more specifically, to Sarah Jarosz's solo stuff. Then go listen to Turnstile. Then Banks, and watch her videos. Lana Del Rey—I mean, you've all probably heard her. This album not being on Spotify made it even tougher, but it is what it is. Democracy is important, even if it has its pitfalls.
