Short review: It's fine.
Longer review: If you thought anglophilia was solely an American export, let Ducks Unlimited prove that the marketplace is broad enough for a Canadian brand.
Shorter review: It sounds like Belle and Sebastian, which, if you like Belle and Sebastian, is great news for you.
An aside: This happened with CHAI earlier this year, "this" being the music press, seemingly at random, picking one band from a flourishing sub-genre and elevating it to whatever level they're able to and asking why they don't make them like this anymore, when in fact they do make them, exactly like this, in basements and home studios across Bandcamp accounts from Glasgow and Athens and Portland and Madrid. What makes this worthy of the claw? Fuck if I know.
