So many amazing folk songs to come out of the '60s, and I like Bob Dylan's original recording of this song, but I enjoy listening to Simon & Garfunkel's more. I love their voices together.
The song is as relevant today as it was when it was released in 1964. We are on the precipice of something huge, and it fills me with a strong sense of foreboding. I do not want to bring politics into my YSC, but this year, around 64 countries have presidential (or the equivalent) elections. There have been uprisings, worker and farmer strikes, and protests against government around the world.
It just feels like we're heading towards something, and the times certainly are a-changin'.
