The story is better than the music, but not by much. The haunted delivery and scattershot narrative focus drive the legend, even as it bogs down the music. That said, there's gold here; gold in the observations on "Talkin' Like You," gold in the slam against Buffalo, NY on "Playboy of the Western World," gold in the tossed-off nonchalance of "Unknown." If nothing else, it's a curio for people who listen to podcasts about ghosts and Twin Peaks fans.
