This Arch Street tunnel off of Suburban Station is so fucking weird. I discovered it earlier this year, and every time I take the train to or from the city, I've been making a point to go through this tunnel. I continue to be the only person in here every once in a while. Some people occasionally go halfway and then go through a different tunnel, possibly to the apartments above us, I'm not even sure. There was also a dude smoking a fat blunt last week, and I don't blame him for choosing here, it's fucking deserted. And now the ceiling is collapsing? I know nothing about where I am, where I walk through, and yet I continue to walk. Because... I don't know, because it's peaceful, probably. Work consists solely of people pestering me every second of the day, bookended by joining the huddled masses of dead-eyed commuters. So it's nice to just be by myself for like two minutes. Even if it's in some creepy tunnel.
