Walk Through Fire, Keelan

I really liked this album. While there was a definitely souly-country theme, I found myself being more reminded of different TV and movies throughout mid-20th century decades than other artists specifically. For example, "Shady Grove" immediately reminded me of The Wonder Years as something Kevin Arnold’s parents would slow dance to in the kitchen while Kevin looked on from afar, both hating and loving what was happening. "Lonely The Night" reminded me of something I could see Meryl Streep singing out her window in Greece to the one that got away in Mama Mia. I enjoyed the throwback theme, and will definitely be adding some of Yola's jamz into the everyday music playlist.
