Album of the Week: Long Season

Record Club albums had a big night at the Grammys last week! Dua Lipa and Post Malone were both nominated for Best Album, and both performed (one better than the other!)! Dua Lipa won Best Pop Album! Fiona Apple won Best Rock Performance and Best Alternative Album! Michael Kiwanuka was nominated for Best Rock Album! Tame Impala was nominated for Best Alternative Album! BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and performed! Jay Electronica was nominated for Best Rap Album! The Highwomen won for Best Country Song! Andrew Watt, who produced songs on three Record Club albums, won Producer of the Year, Non-Classical! The Jagged Little Pill musical won Best Musical Album! Kaytranada won Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording (which is interesting, because Kaytranada's Bubba was the last album that Brian picked for Record Club before today!)!

So don't tell me that you don't have opinions about the Grammys! Record Club members know half the music nominated!

We have a new album below for you to enjoy, and to root for when it is nominated for a Grammy next year (jk). Otherwise, you can check out the archives and the playlist. Enjoy!
