I have mentioned before that I am not a huge country guy, but this song just hits home. I am a fairly simple person. Go to work. Come home. Play with my kids and dogs and maybe have a cold beer on a Friday night. Also fried chicken happens to be a Top Three or Top Four food for me as well.
Also, I'm fairly patriotic, I like to think, in a way, and I love the "let freedom fly" part. Maybe I'm corny as well lol. Idk. Always loved this song.

I'll say this only because it was chosen twice today: this was a very fun choice as the final song at Jenny and Bob's wedding, and I had a great time that night dancing to this song; I also think that this is a really strong potential candidate for worst song of all time. It can be both!
Pam tells me that their last song was "Wagon Wheel." If that's true, then fuck "Chicken Fried" even more.
