I'm not a fan of this whole lowercase rage in music. Hating it, though, is just as stupid as the fad itself. So, whatever. Something about two-piece bands always sticks with me. Wasia Project plays the type of jazz you'd hear in the bowels of Fishtown pre-2008. I know because my cousin took me there when I was eighteen for a beer and some sweet potato fries. The jazz band on stage sounded great. I had no clue where we were at the time but I acted cool because I was with an older cousin who I didn't see very often. I asked him some years later where we were and he said it was a jazz bar in row that was demolished for what is now the Piazza.
