I used the Mars Volta for the June 14th prompt. At the Drive-In is TMV's predecessor. The vocalist and guitarist formed TMV upon the demise of At the Drive-In. At the Drive-In's sound is so raw. It's like a beautiful train wreck that you can't stop watching (listening to). I was never lucky enough to see them live, but their guitarist, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, has a salsa background, so he would dance while playing. Sounds fun.
