Prompt: "A song that is the final song on its album"
Selected by Bob
"Finale"
Slipknot
The End, So Far, 2022
This song is kind of bittersweet. This is the last song, of the last album that Slipknot contractually had with Roadrunner Records. Multiple members just left the band and have been replaced. Throughout the years, it’s been a revolving door anyway. It's said that this might have been the last album that they come out with. And for a maggot like me, that's terrible news. Corey Taylor says that they are far from done, but who knows. The song isn't hard at all. More like a melodic, sad tune, but I love it.
